August Actor Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for actors! The rankings were determined through a data analysis of the media coverage, participation, interaction, and community indexes of 100 actors who appeared in dramas, movies, or OTT content released between July 26 and August 26. Jo Jung Suk, the star of “My Daughter Is a Zombie”—which recently became the biggest box office hit of 2025—topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 5,133,954. Kim Nam Gil, who most recently starred in the drama “Trigger,” took second place with a brand reputation index of 4,292,397. Choo Young Woo, who stole hearts in the hit drama “Head Over Heels,” ranked third with a brand reputation index of 3,896,409. Park Bo Gum held onto his spot at fourth place this month with a brand reputation index of 3,552,480. Finally, Lee Jong Suk, who recently starred in the popular drama “Law and The City,” came in a a close fifth with a brand reputation index of 3,320,567. Check out the top 30 for this month below! August Advertisement Model Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for advertisement models! The rankings were determined through an analysis of consumer behavior, using big data collected from July 7 to August 7. The Korean Business Research Institute evaluated the participation, communication, media, and social values of popular advertisement models in order to calculate each star’s total brand reputation index for August. Byeon Woo Seok topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 1,779,765 for August. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “Solo Leveling,” “wolf cut,” and “Byeon Woo Seok card,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “transform,” “shoot,” and “donate.” Byeon Woo Seok’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.64 percent positive reactions. BTS came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 1,686,305, followed by Lim Young Woong in third place with a score of 1,593,895. Soccer star Son Heung Min took fourth place for August with a brand reputation index of 1,186,630, and ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo rounded out the top five with a score of 1,014,037. Rowoon Confirms New Military Enlistment Date
Rowoon has finalized his new military enlistment date. Back in July, FNC Entertainment revealed that Rowoon—who was originally scheduled to enlist as an active-duty soldier on July 21—received a Grade 7 notice during his pre-enlistment physical assessment, requiring a re-examination and delaying his enlistment. After undergoing a reassessment earlier this month, the agency has now confirmed that Rowoon will officially begin his service on October 27. Read FNC Entertainment’s full statement below: Hello, this is FNC Entertainment. We would like to provide an update regarding the military enlistment schedule of our artist Rowoon. Rowoon, who was initially scheduled to enlist on July 21, received a re-examination notice (Grade 7) during his draft physical assessment. After undergoing the re-examination in early August, he has now been confirmed to enlist as an active-duty soldier on October 27. As previously announced, no official event will be held on the day of enlistment in order to minimize congestion at the site. Ji Ye Eun To Take Temporary Hiatus From Activities Due To Health Concerns
Ji Ye Eun will temporarily suspend her activities to focus on her health. The actress recently visited a hospital for health issues and, following medical advice, has decided to take a break for about a month. On August 26, a representative from Ji Ye Eun’s agency CP Entertainment shared, “Starting next month, Ji Ye Eun will focus on her health and recovery.” The representative added, “CP Entertainment will provide all necessary support to ensure the actress can take adequate rest and make a full return.” Ji Ye Eun made her debut in 2017 with the web drama “How To.” She gained attention through “SNL Korea” and later joined “Running Man” as a regular cast member, boosting her popularity. Lee Ha Nee and her husband have welcomed a second daughter! On August 25, Lee Ha Nee’s agency TEAMHOPE announced that Lee Ha Nee had given birth to her second child the day before. “Lee Ha Nee welcomed a healthy daughter into her arms on August 24,” said the agency. “Both the mother and child are in good health and are currently recovering while receiving love from their family.” They went on, “We would like to thank everyone who sent their prayers and support, and we ask that you continue to give your warm blessings and love.” Lee Ha Nee, who married her non-celebrity husband in December 2021, gave birth to her first daughter three years ago, in June 2022. BABYMONSTER Announces Premiere Date For New Reality Show With Teaser For "BAEMON HOUSE"
Mark your calendars for the premiere of BABYMONSTER’s new reality show! Earlier this month, YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk announced that BABYMONSTER had completed filming for a new reality program called “BAEMON HOUSE,” which is similar in premise to BLACKPINK’s past show “BLACKPINK HOUSE.” On August 25 at midnight KST, BABYMONSTER unveiled the first teaser for the upcoming show, which will air through the group’s official YouTube channel here. After premiering on September 5 at 6 p.m. KST, “BAEMON HOUSE” will air new episodes every Friday. Check out the new teaser poster for “BAEMON HOUSE” below!
