Watch: Rowoon, Shin Ye Eun, And Park Seo Ham Fight For Justice In A Corrupt Era In “The Murky Stream” Teaser
Disney+’s upcoming series “The Murky Stream” has announced its release date along with striking new posters and a teaser! Set in a lawless Joseon era where the once-clear Gyeong River has turned into a murky stream, “The Murky Stream” follows the turbulent fates of Si Yool (Rowoon), who hides his past and becomes a rogue, the wise and righteous Choi Eun (Shin Ye Eun), and Jeong Cheon (Park Seo Ham), who dreams of becoming an incorruptible official. The posters feature dramatic ink splatters representing both the rough currents of the Gyeong River (which flowed through the capital during the Joseon era, around the area of today’s Han River) and the corruption of those in power that have darkened the once-clear waters. At the center, the three determined youths stand resolutely, while the phrase “It’s your fault. You were born into a corrupt world” sparks curiosity about how they will carve out their destinies in such a harsh era. Notably, the poster’s logo was created by Chong Tae Chun, a renowned Korean folk singer and singer-songwriter, adding another layer of interest. The bold brushstrokes of the title hint at a story full of twists and unpredictable turns. The teaser plunges viewers into a chaotic Joseon, tilted and oppressed by the powerful, and follows the three youths as they pursue their own sense of justice. It opens with Si Yool delivering a chilling line: “Living is like a ferocious dream. There will be a price to pay.” The calm of the Gyeong River is shattered by the shadow of a looming invasion, accompanied by Jeong Cheon’s urgent warning: “Joseon is a land in decline. Everywhere reeks of rot.” Tension escalates as Choi Eun boldly cries: “This is outrageous!” She is met by the oppressors’ chilling retort: “Nothing is impossible for the powerful.” Undeterred, the three youths ready themselves for battle, sharpening their blades and declaring: “Let’s fight. In this weary world, dying would be a blessing.” “The Murky Stream” will premiere with three episodes on September 26, followed by two new episodes weekly, for a total of nine episodes.
Shin Eun Soo Rescues Transfer Student Gong Myoung In Their Fateful First Meeting In “Love Untangled”
Netflix’s upcoming film “Love Untangled” has released a new set of stills! Set in 1998 Busan, “Love Untangled” follows 19-year-old Park Se Ri (Shin Eun Soo), who sets out on a mission to fix her lifelong insecurity—her curly hair—before finally confessing her feelings to her crush. Along the way, she gets entangled with Han Yoon Seok (Gong Myoung), a transfer student from Seoul. The newly unveiled stills capture both the sparkling moments of youth and the indispensable figures who play key roles in Se Ri’s grand confession mission. Yoon Seok’s arrival in Busan leads to a fateful encounter when he accidentally falls into the sea—only to be saved by Se Ri, marking the beginning of their unforgettable connection. Another still shows Yoon Seok lost in thought while holding a comic book Se Ri introduced to him, while a playful shot of the two dressed as a pro golfer and caddie raises curiosity about where their relationship is headed. Meanwhile, the school’s heartthrob Kim Hyun (Cha Woo Min) radiates star power even in stills alone. Known as the school’s most popular boy, he has it all—good looks, athletic talent, and irresistible charm. A photo of him holding a glass jar filled with origami cranes hints at his immense popularity. Adding more fun is the scene-stealing Seong Rae (Yoon Sang Hyun), a chatterbox who excels at everything but studying. Serving as Se Ri’s right-hand strategist, he brings humor and precision to her confession mission. Se Ri’s world also shines brighter with her loyal best friends, affectionately called “Sol.Bang.Ul”—Ma Sol Ji (Choi Gyu Ri), Bang Ha Young (Lee So Yi), and Jung Da Ul (Son Hee Rim). Always by her side, this trio brings warmth and energy as her strongest supporters. On the other hand, Se Ri’s curly-haired rival Go In Jeong (Kang Mina) turns heads when she suddenly shows up with sleek, straight hair, sparking fresh tension. Veteran actors further enrich the film: Hong Eun Hee plays Baek Jang Mi, Yoon Seok’s mother and owner of the only salon in Busan offering the famous Seoul magic straight perm, who becomes pivotal to Se Ri’s mission. Kim Ji Young takes on the role of Se Ri’s mother Bok Hee, while Ryu Seung Soo plays Se Ri’s father Park Hong Il, the school’s official photographer who also passed down his curly-hair genes to Se Ri. “Love Untangled” will premiere on August 29.
Watch: Han Suk Kyu’s True Identity Remains A Mystery As Bae Hyeon Seong Probes In “Shin’s Project” Teaser
tvN’s upcoming drama “Shin’s Project” has unveiled a new teaser! “Shin’s Project” is a new drama starring Han Suk Kyu as Mr. Shin, a former legendary negotiator who now runs a modest chicken restaurant while hiding a mysterious secret. A neighborhood hero who takes it upon himself to mediate conflicts and assist people through seemingly unwinnable situations, Mr. Shin willingly jumps into other people’s conflicts to settle their problems and deliver justice. The newly released teaser opens with the humble view of Mr. Shin’s alleyway chicken restaurant. Amid the laid-back atmosphere, he continues frying chicken despite frantic calls from his employee Jo Philip (Bae Hyeon Seong), casually replying, “Why, I’m busy,” as he stays focused on his craft. Over his skilled hands, the words “The Chicken Master” appear on screen, hinting at his exceptional abilities. Other scenes reveal a very different side of Mr. Shin. When rookie lawyer Jo Philip points out, “You just violated the road traffic law,” Shin brushes it off with ease, dramatically tears up an important-looking document, and playfully gestures as if telling someone to zip their lips. His free-spirited approach to rules has earned him another nickname: “The Master of Shortcuts.” Just when his unpredictable actions raise more questions, Mr. Shin switches into “Master Negotiator” mode. Calls for his help echo from all directions, and he expertly resolves a tense conflict, impressing everyone around him. After closing the deal, he cheerfully announces, “Negotiation complete!” and punctuates the moment with a playful wink. Watching it all unfold, Jo Philip can no longer hold back his curiosity. “I’m really curious… what exactly is it that you do?” he asks. Calmly, Shin replies, “Me? I’m Mr. Shin,” leaving a cryptic impression that deepens the mystery surrounding him even further. Watch the teaser below: “Shin’s Project” is set to premiere on September 15 at 8:50 p.m. KST.

Kim Da Mi Talks About Her Character In "A Hundred Memories," Why She Chose The Drama, And More
Kim Da Mi has shared her thoughts on her “A Hundred Memories” character! Set in the 1980s, “A Hundred Memories” is a nostalgic coming-of-age romance drama about the friendship between two young bus attendants, Go Young Rye (Kim Da Mi) and Seo Jong Hee (Shin Ye Eun), and their shared first love Han Jae Pil (Heo Nam Jun). Kim Da Mi described her character Young Rye as “someone with a pure, clear soul, a warm heart, and so much love.” She continued, “That’s why she knows how to give everything for her friends and family. I find that really cool.” Kim Da Mi recalled how she felt when she first encountered “A Hundred Memories.” She said, “When I read the script, it felt like each and every character was alive. I wanted to live in that world, too.” She added, “The more I read, the more I fell in love with Young Rye for her purity.
