Watch: Gong Myoung Starts To Fall For Shin Eun Soo While She Prepares To Confess To Cha Woo Min In “Love Untangled” Teaser
Netflix’s upcoming film “Love Untangled” has offered a glimpse into its characters’ tangled one-sided loves in a newly released teaser! Set in 1998 Busan, “Love Untangled” follows 19-year-old Park Se Ri (Shin Eun Soo), who sets out on a mission to fix her lifelong insecurity—her curly hair—before finally confessing her feelings to her crush. Along the way, she gets entangled with Han Yoon Seok (Gong Myoung), a transfer student from Seoul. The newly released main poster captures Se Ri, her face flushed with excitement under the sunlight streaming into the classroom, and Yoon Seok, who watches her from the next seat. As Se Ri beams at the thought of Kim Hyun (Cha Woo Min), the school’s most popular boy and the object of her crush, viewers are left wondering if her grand confession will succeed. Meanwhile, Yoon Seok’s intent gaze at Se Ri hints at his growing, complicated feelings after being unexpectedly pulled into Se Ri’s elaborate confession mission. The tagline—“Do you really have to straighten your hair to confess?”—foreshadows the tangled, twist-filled plan ahead, much like Se Ri’s curls. The accompanying trailer begins with Yoon Seok transferring from Seoul to Busan and quickly finding himself caught up with Se Ri, leading to a chaotic and unpredictable school life. Smitten at first sight with the popular Kim Hyun, Se Ri teams up with her friends to stage the ultimate confession mission. As Se Ri dubs herself “Yoon Seok’s life saver,” he is drawn into the plan, gradually spending more time with her and her friends. Se Ri learns from her curly-haired rival In Jeong (Kang Mina) about the wonders of Seoul magic straight perm and rushes to the salon—only to be discouraged by the high cost. The more time Yoon Seok spends with Se Ri, the more he finds himself drawn to her. Their exchanges—him asking, “Why care about straight hair?” and her replying, “No one likes this hair,” followed by his, “If it matters, I like it”—hint at the start of a budding emotional shift. With the confession day drawing near, Se Ri, now determined, tells Yoon Seok and her friends, “Thank you for being with me at the most important moment of my life,” as she prepares for the big moment. As the tangled mission nears its end, the question remains: will Se Ri finally succeed in her confession this time? Watch the teaser below! “Love Untangled” will premiere on August 29.
