March Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups! The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from February 7 to March 7. BTS held onto their spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 8,622,083 for March. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “ARMY,” “SWIM,” and “March 21,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “make a comeback,” “release,” and “preview.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.51 percent positive reactions. Stray Kids maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 4,341,278, marking an 18.15 percent increase in their score since February. SEVENTEEN rose to third place after seeing a 72.58 percent increase in their brand reputation index since last month, bringing their total score to 4,006,878. Meanwhile, EXO took fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,908,613 for March. Wanna One came in at a close fifth with a brand reputation index of 2,905,234, marking a 90.08 percent rise in their score since February. On March 6, GUESS announced Hyunjin as its global ambassador and unveiled the first global campaign for GUESS JEANS featuring the artist. The campaign blends Hyunjin’s global influence with GUESS’s American denim heritage, offering a refined reinterpretation of the brand’s “Modern Heritage” concept. The GUESS JEANS collection—featuring classic denim shirts, straight-fit jeans, striped T-shirts, and denim cargo pants—highlights the brand’s long-standing denim DNA with a contemporary twist. Kep1er Announces Youngeun’s Departure From Group
Youngeun will be departing from Kep1er. On March 6, Kep1er’s agencies WAKEONE and KLAP Entertainment released an official statement announcing that Youngeun will be leaving the group. Following her departure, Kep1er will continue their activities as a six-member group. Back in July 2025, the agencies announced that Youngeun had been experiencing health issues and had been advised by medical professionals to take sufficient time to rest and recover. She has been on hiatus since then. We wish Youngeun all the best in her future endeavors!

The rankings were determined through a data analysis of the media coverage, participation, interaction, and community indexes of 100 actors who appeared in dramas, movies, or OTT content released between January 26 and February 26. The stars of the hit film “The King’s Warden” swept the top spots on this month’s list. Yoo Hae Jin took first place with a brand reputation index of 7,088,037, while Park Ji Hoon came in second with a score of 5,543,235. Park Shin Hye ranked third with a brand reputation index of 5,116,888, and Lee Sung Min followed in fourth place with a score of 4,565,267. Finally, Go Youn Jung rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 4,472,827.
