They better not ruin this one!!! At first I thought this one was just another average romantic kdrama. and I'm not saying it isn't, It's fake marriage that'll eventually lead to love. There's a childhood friend who's in love with one of the leads (she super cute, I love her and she better not suffer) and the tired childhood connection trope. We have Jung so Min playing a character pretty similar to ones she's played before (Because it's my first life, love next door) and Choi Wosik's character is again the humble rich kid very much in parallel with Our beloved summer's Choi Woong ,however, it works beautifully!4 episodes got me hooked! I have laughed out loud many times and maybe for the first time in a loooooooong while I'm not rolling my eyes at the childhood connection trope. This drama is throwing every possible cliché at us and make it work in a way that feels fresh! I'm just hoping that this one of the exceptions were the ending doesn't disappoint.Episode 6 was disappointing, I'm loving the comedy but it's getting a bit too stupid for my taste, Ex-boyfriend Wojoo is too annoying but I do enjoy watching him suffer so I'm torn between wanting him to go away and wating to see him get what he deserves. I don't plan on dropping it but it's not as good as I expected to be.

Why Am I Here

High Potential Turns into Tropes Showcase Another HIGH POTENTIAL show goes south. The promotional summary and the first two episodes are really convincing. The plot about two strangers work together to "keep" a house seems pretty promising. However, apart from the comedy, all things are going wrong here. It looks like the writer is trying to fit cliche tropes as much as possible into this show. Childhood connection, malicious betrayal, White Truck of Doom, triangle — I mean square love, family rejections, unecessary breakup, they somehow put it all together. Instead of focusing on how they keep fooling their neighbours and people around them with their scam (which I think will be more interesting and chaotic), they developed another cliche stories which are boring because they're reused. There are a lot of unecessary things here: the childhood connection is totally unecessary, it is still very possible for them to fall in love naturally. Jin Gyeong malicious confession to U Ju and Me Ri is also unecessary, especially when she regrets it instantly. Is this confession coming just so U Ju and Me Ri can fight and amend? The story about the slush fund is too complicated. For me how they work together on the scam and Me Ri's problem with her ex is more than enough. Anything beyond should just be side stories.More than half of the show has shown it's going the wrong direction. It's likely too late to take a sudden u turn, it requires something big (usually they pull a shocking makjang to do it instead). Watch it only if you're up for a fluffy comedy.

Sweet and heart fluttering show! The cast really have great chemistry! The choice of cast is really awesome!! The episodes have those moments you would find it so so sweet and cute. The cinematography is also super good as well! A great show to watch during the weekends, and rewatch again for their sweet moments!Choi Wooshik and Jung Somin really had the best chem, no one else would suit this show more. The fits of wooju are so wooshik coded, it's so like him. Really had to support all of wooshik's shows/projects, they are all so good!

RomCom Kdrama is always predictable Honestly, RomCom Kdramas are pretty predictable, so it's weird that some people get annoyed about it. If you want something unpredictable, maybe give action or thriller K-dramas a shot, they're way more likely to surprise youNow let's talk about this drama, Would You Marry Me is really good so far. The first two episodes are engaging and I'm already hooked. Choi Woo Sik and Jung So-min have great chemistry, it's really cute and sweet. My only regret about watching this drama is that I watched this too quickly, and now the wait for new episodes is excruciating. Ps: If you don’t like common K-drama tropes like the male lead’s childhood trauma or childhood connections, this drama might not be for you. But if you’re a longtime RomCom K-drama fan, you’ll likely understand it.

What are these ratings? I think the first two episodes have been absolutely fire. They aren't promising something that hasn't been done before or something way too intellectual. It's a combination of classic tropes that have been used before. The aesthetics look pleasant and the acting has been amazing too. I don't know why this has such a low rating with such a good start. The number of misunderstandings that have been set up for the next week, I just know that it's gonna be filled with comic moments. Jung so min's ex is quite irritating and seeing in the preview I guess he is gonna be even more irritating in the next episode, but maybe he is needed to drive the plot and relationship fast forward

10/10 I love the story, I love the comedy, I love the romace, I love the roles, I love the main couple and even the second couple is splendid.I'm ooking foward for each episode.I knew that these 2 would deliver a perfect combo and the 2nd ML is also a great actor with so much too offer with his versatility. But the story and comedy is being above expectations. The actors are top notch with no flaws.I love it. +10 ^.^/

A Perfectly Balanced Romcom This show is a perfectly balanced romcom. It's cliche and full of every trope out there, but it's never overdone to a point that's annoying. It's also very cute in its own way. The premise isnt a new or original, but its tackled in a way that seems fresh and enjoyable. I came for Jung so min and she simply doesn't disappoint. The emotional moments carry the kind of weight you wouldn't expect from such a light hearted show, and that's because she's such a talented actress. She easily switches between funny and quirky to serious and stoic. The male lead is equally capable and the two make a good pair. Also, it's been so long since i actually laughed or smiled at a scene with a drunk character. They're usually cringe like in QoT or repetitive like in almost everything else. But like i said, this show taked a fresh approach to already used tropes and cliches. I dont expect it to break any storytelling bounds, but if this quality holds up, it has the potential to be one of the better shows of this year.

This pairing alone had me SOLD I knew I was going to watch this the second I saw the pairing. Choi Wooshik and Jung Somin? Honestly, you can’t go wrong with them, and putting the two together is just an absolute SERVE. It’s been a while since I’ve watched a proper romcom, and this one didn’t disappoint for even a second. It has the usual kdrama tropes, but instead of feeling repetitive, it’s genuinely fun. You’ll catch yourself laughing, giggling, and smiling through the whole thing. If you’ve been waiting for that one pure romcom this year, this is IT.I don’t usually write reviews for dramas I haven’t finished yet, but this one tempted me to break the rule. So far it has been such a refreshing dose of warmth and wit that reminds me why I fell in love with kdramas in the first place.

Would You Marry Me? I came here because of Jung So-min, and she didn't disappoint me at all. She continues to maintain her excellent acting standards. She's still as lovely and charming as ever, and her chemistry with Choi Woo-shik is also great. The story tells of the twisted fate of their love, which leads to their accidental reunion, even though they have to disguise themselves as husband and wife for some reason. I'm looking forward to the next episode.

Old, but warm I know this is a story with old cliches and overused tropes, but it has managed to reel me in from the beginning till now, and I am sure going to see it till the end. Its cliche, but everything from the casting to the acting and music/OST are just so warm. I can continue writing about how excited I am for the upcoming episode or about how I plan to re-watch everything all over once the series is over. Aigooo

JungSomin really managed to create a different personality for her character Actually, I had been bored with romcoms for a while, but JungSomin got me interested again, so I decided to give this one another chance and I wasn't disappointed. It was amazing, filled with the perfect balance of romance and comedy. The director had so many cute quips and jokes, and the actors played their roles so well and beautifully. Even though that scene wasn't anything new, I smiled happily and wanted to cheer for the characters to overcome their obstacles quickly. While waiting, I ended up watching Love Next Door and loved it so much. It's a completely different genre from Would You Marry? JungSomin really managed to create a different personality for her character. She was so talented, I can't wait to see more of her works.
