Shin Eun Soo Tries To Straighten Her Curls And Her Love Life In First “Love Untangled” Teaser
Netflix’s upcoming film “Love Untangled” has confirmed its release date along with an adorable new poster and trailer! Set in Busan in 1998, “Love Untangled” follows the story of 19-year-old Park Se Ri (Shin Eun Soo) who, while embarking on a mission to straighten her lifelong insecurity—her curly hair—before making a love confession, gets entangled with a transfer student named Han Yoon Seok (Gong Myoung). The newly released poster shows Park Se Ri struggling to tame her fluffy, cotton candy-like curls. Hidden throughout her voluminous hair are whimsical objects like folded origami, capturing the playful and quirky charm of a youthful romance film. The tagline, “Straighten my hair, straight to your heart!” adds to the anticipation: will Se Ri finally conquer her curls and pull off the ultimate confession? The accompanying teaser opens with Se Ri’s narration: “It all started then. My hair started curling, and my life got tangled right along with it.” As she wrestles with the curls she inherited from her father, the teaser shows her trying every trick in the book to straighten her hair. A self-proclaimed “confession expert,” Se Ri teams up with her friends and the new transfer student from Seoul, Yoon Seok, to pull off a grand confession plan for Kim Hyun (Cha Woo Min), the school’s most popular boy. Convinced that Kim Hyun prefers girls with straight hair, Se Ri hilariously resorts to everything from hair dryers to plastic folders in her quest to achieve silky straight hair. Meanwhile, Yoon Seok, who unexpectedly becomes part of Se Ri’s plan right after transferring, begins to develop a subtle but undeniable connection with her. Their growing chemistry paves the way for an unpredictable first-love story that keeps viewers guessing. The tagline “19-year-old Se Ri’s twisty-turny heart-pounding confession mission” stirs memories of teenage butterflies and awkward charm, adding to the film’s irresistible nostalgic appeal. “Love Untangled” will premiere on August 29. Jung Chaeyeon And Lee Jin Uk Butt Heads At Work Yet Connect Through Compassion In "Beyond the Bar" Highlight Video
JTBC’s upcoming drama “Beyond the Bar” has released a new highlight video ahead of its premiere! “Beyond the Bar” stars Jung Chaeyeon as Kang Hyo Min, an upstanding and confident yet inexperienced rookie attorney at the law firm Yullim. Under the mentorship of Yoon Seok Hoon (Lee Jin Uk), a cold but exceptionally skilled partner attorney, Hyo Min gradually grows into a true lawyer as she navigates the challenges of the legal world. The new video highlights the stark contrast between Yoon Seok Hoon, a perfectionist who doesn’t waste a single second, and Kang Hyo Min, who comes off as clumsy but undeniably bold. Their conflicting dynamic is evident from their very first meeting during Hyo Min’s interview, and tension builds as they are reunited as senior and junior colleagues on the same legal team. At first, Yoon Seok Hoon maintains strict control over the newly hired attorneys with his cold and prickly demeanor. Kang Hyo Min, in particular, finds herself clashing with him at every turn. However, over time, her passion and unique insight begin to shine. From her tireless fieldwork to her evolving courtroom presence, Hyo Min steadily grows, eventually earning Seok Hoon’s recognition. The drama also promises to deliver emotional moments through the duo’s work as attorneys. In one moment, Seok Hoon remarks, “For them, a lawsuit is a last resort,” hinting at his deeper understanding of the desperation felt by their clients. While Seok Hoon is driven by logic, he and Hyo Min develop a mutual respect for one another, and their emotional growth will offer viewers a heartwarming and inspiring journey. “Beyond the Bar” will premiere on August 2 at 10:40 p.m. KST.
